The aim of the BN NOW workout drink is to provide the body with the necessary fuel for intense exercise, while ensuring the proper functioning of the nervous systems and the best possible homeostatic balance of the body. This is achieved by improving - even during the effort - the future recovery. To achieve these various objectives, the following components have been combined in ideal proportions:

vegetable protein hydrolysates, gluten-free - brown rice protein
trace elements and amino acids - taurine, glutamine, L-carnitine, creatine...
mineral salts - also called electrolytes - magnesium, calcium, sodium and potassium
essential vitamins of the B group (B1, B2, B3, B5 and B6)
a combination of carbohydrates - maltodextrin & dextrose
The NOW drink contains neither gluten nor lactose, for high tolerance and digestibility.

Hydration: Necessary for effort

We cannot emphasize enough the importance of hydration during exercise (at a minimum, water with sugar and salt). Indeed, a loss of 2% of water represents 20% of the loss of physical abilities! Moreover, the risk of overheating of the body, as well as digestive, muscular or tendon problems are exacerbated in the case of dehydration in athletes.

More than just a carbohydrate intake

During exertion, an athlete's energy demands increase, the body dehydrates, muscle damage occurs, the amount of free radicals increases, immunity decreases while the nervous systems become deregulated. In order to remain efficient - but also to improve future recovery during the effort - it is necessary not only to replenish glycogen stores, but also to ensure the proper functioning of the nervous systems and the best possible homeostatic balance of the body, hence a complex composition.

Usage tips

Per hour of training, mix one dose of Now (20 grams) with 750-1000 ml of water and drink every 5 minutes during the effort. <p>Up to 6 hours of effort, there is no need to incorporate solid food in addition to the effort drink. From 6 hours of effort, fruit pastes or dried fruits can be added, if needed.</p>
