The objective of the performance drink BN NOW is to provide the body with the fuel necessary for intense effort while ensuring healthy functioning of the nervous system and as good a homeostatic balance as possible, so as to improve – already during effort – future recovery. In order to reach these diverse objectives, the following constituents have been combined in ideal proportions:

Vegetable gluten-free protein hydrolisates – brown rice protein
Trace elements and amino acids - taurine, glutamine, L-carnitine, creatine...
Mineral salts – also called electrolytes - magnesium, calcium, sodium and potassium

Hydration: Necessary for effort

We cannot emphasize enough the importance of hydration during exercise (at a minimum, water with sugar and salt). Indeed, a loss of 2% of water represents 20% of the loss of physical abilities! Moreover, the risk of overheating of the body, as well as digestive, muscular or tendon problems are exacerbated in the case of dehydration in athletes.

More than just a carbohydrate intake

During exertion, an athlete's energy demands increase, the body dehydrates, muscle damage occurs, the amount of free radicals increases, immunity decreases while the nervous systems become deregulated. In order to remain efficient - but also to improve future recovery during the effort - it is necessary not only to replenish glycogen stores, but also to ensure the proper functioning of the nervous systems and the best possible homeostatic balance of the body, hence a complex composition.

Usage tips

For each hour of training, mix one dose of Now (20 grams) with 250-500 ml of water and drink every 5 minutes during the effort. Up to 6 hours of effort, it is not necessary to incorporate solid foods in addition to the performance drink. After 6 hours of effort, fruit pastes or dried fruits can be added, if needed.
