After intense training, the body implements physiological mechanisms aimed at returning to its initial state of fitness and then, ideally, surpassing it: this is overcompensation. The goal of the AFTER recovery drink is to take advantage of this overcompensation effect to recover more efficiently.

To do this, the following components have been combined in ideal proportions:

a brown rice protein hydrolysate, very digestible
trace elements and amino acids - creatine, L-glutamine, zinc, copper
mineral salts - also called electrolytes - magnesium, calcium, sodium and potassium
essential vitamins - B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B8, B9, B12, C, and E
a combination of carbohydrates - maltodextrin & dextrose

Better recovery, improved performance

Recovery is an integral part of training. It is essential for improving sporting performance, as without it the body does not regenerate and tires. The result? Decreased performance, fatigue, over-training and injuries. Rest, nutrition, massages and recovery drinks all aim to improve recovery and make it as effective as possible.

Utilisation

Mix a dose of After (20 grams) with 300 ml of water. Drink after training, once homeostasis has been achieved (between 30 minutes and 1 hour after training). Homeostasis is considered to have been achieved when the body stops perspiring. BN advice: if your training is particularly intense, take 2 packets of AFTER. Eating a balanced meal within the following 2 hours is also recommended for optimal recovery.
