Snack or pre-sport: Homemade energy bars

Here is a typical example of a tasty, filling, and easy-to-digest bar, ideal before sports or for the afternoon snack. Very high in energy, you shouldn't overdo it!
You can make endless variants, by changing the sources of dried fruits or oilseeds.
The recipe is taken from Olivier Bourquin's book "Eating well associated", in which you will find numerous snack or pre-workout alternatives!
Ingredients
- 350 g of oat flakes
- 75 g of peanuts
- 75 g of raisins
- 75 g of goji berries
- 200 g of honey
- 1 teaspoon of melted coconut oil
- 50 g of chia seeds
- A little grated ginger (optional)
- 20 g of grated coconut
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 220°C.
- Blend the oat flakes, peanuts, raisins, and goji berries.
- Pour them into a salad bowl, then add the honey, melted coconut oil, chia seeds, and possibly grated ginger. Mix well then mold into a brownie pan with wax paper, packing down with a roller.
- Place in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the mold onto a board, cut the bars.
- Place them on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 5 minutes until browned.
- Sprinkle with grated coconut.
