The zen salad with grain mustard
Almost all foods rich in tryptophan are also rich in tyrosine and phenylalanine, thus preventing serotonin from properly reaching the brain.
If you look closely, we can still suggest a very serotonin-rich dish for dinner, which is light and easy to digest.
Ingredients and preparation
This is a salad composed of lettuce, with avocado, honey-coloured Armillaria mushrooms, a few dates, fresh pineapple, a portion of lentils, all accompanied by a grain mustard vinaigrette.
For the grain mustard vinaigrette:
-
A tablespoon of olive oil (omega 9)
-
A tablespoon of rapeseed oil (omega 3)
-
A tablespoon of apple cider vinegar (blood sugar regulator)
-
Two turns of the black pepper mill (digestion, anti-inflammatory)
-
A teaspoon of grain mustard (antioxidant, serotonin)
-
A tablespoon of chia seeds (omega 3, fiber, calcium, iron, vitamin C)
-
A teaspoon of turmeric powder (liver detoxifier, anti-inflammatory)
It should be noted that grain mustard is rich in serotonin and contains a component that produces an anabolic effect that increases muscle mass as well as the number and size of muscle fibers. This compound is called homobrassinolide, the brassinosteroids of which homobrassinolides are actually plant steroids.
So make sure the mustard gets up your nose... in the literal sense ;-)
