Breakfast: Your morning granola

Last updated onJanuary 24, 2022

A well-matched breakfast, sufficiently protein-rich, full of good nutrients, fibers, probiotics and the tastiest! What does this combination imply?

First of all, one must always keep in mind the great importance of the intestinal absorption of what we ingest; each menu should consist of enough fibers and lacto-fermented foods (probiotics).

In the case of our breakfast, kefir milk is ideal as it is rich in probiotics, but also in vitamin D, calcium and proteins. So, we will add to the cereals 1.5 dl of kefir milk.

Then always to pamper our intestine, I recommend the intake of 5 Brazilian nuts, this is very rich in fibers, but also in antioxidants (selenium, zinc, vit. E), it contains good fats and is rich in proteins.

A portion of fruit is also recommended but I prefer dried fruits with cereals or granola, as digestion will be facilitated.

I particularly appreciate dried blackberries, which are rich in vitamin C and iron; remember that to properly fix iron, we need vit. C, a microbiota rich in good bacteria and copper.

And indeed, we find a good amount of copper in our gluten-free, high-protein chocolate granola, in collaboration with Alver. This granola also contains sunflower lecithin, very good for the brain, and golden chlorella. Chlorella is a micro-algae with a thousand virtues, including the very recognized one of being anti-inflammatory.

With this type of good combination for your breakfast, your morning can only go well! Let's never forget that to activate our dopamine (motivation) in the morning, a sufficiently protein-rich diet is essential.
