If we often talk about some Valaisans shining in their respective fields such as Sepp Blatter, Oskar Freysinger or even Bernard Rappaz, there is another ambassador of the canton of the sun who shines differently in his discipline, and who deserves to be highlighted today: He is the world champion of ski mountaineering Yannick Ecoeur.

Currently in preparation, the professional Border Guard feels at his best, after a December-January period which he describes as always difficult, but never enough to discourage Yannick.

Record holder of the Patrouille des Glaciers (PDG for the initiated), Yannick has been collaborating for several years with Bourquin Nutrition, both in personal follow-up (Machine ES-Teck) and with some of our products, including BN Energy, which as he told us, provides him with an added concentration value during his mountain treks.
Yannick therefore understood that to maintain an ideal general balance and not to be completely in the red (not always obvious in this region), micro nutrition and nutrition are sure allies in the quest for peaks and heights...of ranking.

In ski mountaineering, saying seal off to underperformance and making your opponents skin is all the harm we wish you dear Yannick.

As Nicolas Helmbacher said, "The mountain offers us the scenery... It's up to us to invent the story that goes with it!"
