Dietary advice for maintaining a good acid-base balance

Not so basic... Despite constant environmental changes, our cells must be able, through many physiological mechanisms, to maintain good internal stability, this is then referred to as homeostasis.
Among the elements necessary for this internal dynamic balance, the acid-base balance holds an important place.

But let's revisit the risks of an unbalanced pH and the possible consequences of too much acidity on our health. Some signs of a body that is too acidic: fatigue - especially in the morning, nervous disorders, infections, digestive problems, burning sensations, gout, poor blood circulation, skin conditions, metabolic disorders, heart problems, hypertension, inflammation, urinary disorders, pain, cramps, muscle aches, migraines, bone fragility, osteoporosis, arthritis, overweight...

Here are 12 more dietary tips to balance your pH:


1. Decrease your salt intake.
2. Eat more potassium (root vegetables, green vegetables, potato, banana, apricot).
3. Always accompany meat, eggs, fish with green vegetables.
4. Choose whole grains because in refined ones the basic minerals have disappeared.
5. Drink lots of water, especially that containing water rich in bicarbonates.
6. Do not deprive yourself of foods that taste acidic or tart. Lemon for example is acidic in the mouth but on the contrary, due to its richness in citrates, highly alkalizing.
7. Consume brightly colored fruits and vegetables daily.
8. Decrease the consumption of highly acidifying cheese.
9. Consume spices, pepper, cinnamon, turmeric, nutmeg, good for their richness in antioxidants and bases.
10. Keep it simple: the longer a product's label, the richer the product will be in additives, and therefore acidifying.
11. Limit as much as possible sugary foods.
12. Do an alkalizing formula cure (BN Base) twice a year.
