Banana & Maca Smoothie

To be consumed ideally at snack time: The banana and maca powder smoothie: an iron fist, a velvet taste!


Savor the smoothie gourmet and energizing while enjoying the benefits of superfoods and their high nutritional value!

#1 The banana

The banana has the peculiarity of containing tryptophan. Tryptophan is an amino acid that the body converts into serotonin, which is known to be a natural relaxant. Therefore, consuming it contributes to putting you in a good emotional state which will make you happy!

#2 Honey

Honey is an interesting food source for its antioxidant properties. Most of these antioxidants are flavonoids. These interact in neutralizing free radicals.

#3 Chia seeds

Chia seeds are naturally rich in dietary fiber and "good fats". Chia contains about 23% proteins and is also a good source of vitamin B9, of calcium and antioxidants. In addition, chia seeds bring a slight "hazelnut" flavor to the smoothie.

Ingredients (for one person)

  • 1.5 dl of vegetable milk (almond, coconut or rice)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 teaspoon of maca powder (or 5 capsules of Maca Bio BN Nutrition)
  • 1 teaspoon of chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • 3 ice cubes



Preparation

  1. Peel the banana and cut it into large pieces

  1. Pour all the ingredients (except the chia seeds) into your blender and mix for 1 minute

  1. Add the chia seeds and mix well

  1. Put the smoothie in the refrigerator for 10 minutes and enjoy chilled.
